Biography

Alvin Bowman performs spiritual spoken word under the name “Testimony.” From being an all-star youth athlete to overcoming a decades-long struggle with addiction, he shares his testimony with the world.

“God delivered me from the darkest places of drug-use, homelessness and criminal activity and I believe…If God will do it for me…HE will do it for anyone!”

Testimony was a finalist for Russell Simmons HBO Def Jam Poetry competition, a Gulf War veteran and proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
